Privacy policy
Realm Calendar is operated by Norman Kabir for personal use. Google Calendar data is used to provide a private calendar view in the operator’s Realm workspace.
Information accessed and stored
The app verifies the selected Google account’s identity and email address and reads primary-calendar metadata, including its identifier and time zone. The authorization flow requests basic Google identity permissions and read-only Calendar permissions.
Its stored projection contains event identifiers, titles, start and end values, time zones, recurrence information, cancellation and event status, the account owner’s attendance response, busy/free status, event type and a link to the source event. It omits event descriptions, locations and other participants’ identities.
The current view covers seven days before today through 90 days after today, using UTC day boundaries. Retained snapshots may contain earlier observations.
Use and sharing
The data supports private calendar display, freshness reporting, troubleshooting and recovery. The collector does not modify Google Calendar events or invitation responses.
Calendar data is not published on this website, sold, used for advertising, or sent to the public website’s hosting service. It is not used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. This implementation has no calendar-data sharing feature.
Realm Calendar’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and retention
Calendar snapshots are stored in the operator’s private environment and recovery copies. Access is restricted to the operator’s workspace. OAuth credentials are stored separately from calendar snapshots and the public website.
Snapshots are retained until the operator explicitly removes them. There is no automatic history deletion. Collection stops when its configured storage limit is reached. Removing data from Google Calendar does not automatically erase earlier retained snapshots.
Revocation and deletion
The account owner can revoke the app’s authorization through Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized reads but does not delete previously stored snapshots or backups. To request their removal, contact nkabir@gmail.com.
This public website
These information pages do not request Google Calendar authorization, collect calendar entries, or include application analytics or advertising scripts. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and browser metadata, to deliver and protect the website.
